I’ve recently changed providers over to my own, homegrown multi-site wordpress installation on AWS. This move was mostly inspired by the offshoring of all support, the inability to customize a lot of things I wanted to do, etc. When I first had my platform at the old provider, it was great: they were a small shop whose small data center was located in the same physical area where I lived at the time. Unfortunately the owner/operator ended up selling out to an outfit based in Texas, who then sold out to who knows who at this point.
Anyway, I’ll be re-posting my old content at this new landing spot over the coming days. I’ll also be documenting how I set it all up (otherwise the scream you hear is me trying to reproduce it at some future point. If you are looking for a low cost, low fuss WP hosting solution and want to piggyback on mine, give me a shout and we’ll see if it is a good fit.
Til next time…
